Bartley Lodge Hotel - Lyndhurst

Loved the cozy lounge area and the beautiful grounds where we could relax with our dog.

Cheap, neat room, loved it.

Appealing and fairly clean place with amazingly efficient and excellent staff that clearly was n't very willing to accommodate what to me seemed like a simple request. Beautiful location, tastefully decorated rooms. Excellent restaurant for breakfast. The pool area is very clean too. Everything really good.

The location was fine, and the swimming pool provided a fun escape! Afternoon cakes were a good treat for our family.

We had a splendid few days at the Bartley Lodge, room very clean and comfortable, staff very friendly and food wonderful, enjoyed the pool, gym and sauna. Will be going back

The location in the country and the beautiful old building were the highlights.

Pool and bathroom are no longer up to date, cleanliness ok but not good.

We were moved to a small double room and had a work desk, tea and coffee making equipment, and satellite television. The view was lovely over the garden.

Very small room and ensuite very small, wash basinin bedroom was unsatisfactory

Recreational short stop for a tired traveller from Continent! unfortunately had no time to stay a few days. Joachim Vogtmann

Very nice pleasant hotel on the edge of the New Forest. The staff were very helpful.

The staff were super both at reception and in the restaurant. We booked our stay for my parents 55th wedding anniversary, and they felt the whole stay was perfect.

We did feel that as there was such a difference in the 2 rooms we had (12 and 23) that the price shouldn't have been the same for both. Room 12 is incredibly cramped, and there was only just enough room to get into the shower room - luckily we were able to give my parents room 23 which was absolutely lovely. I am surprised that the rates were the same when the rooms were so different.

Hotel was lovely and set back in the forest and had character. Hotel staff friendly and very helpful. Food in the restaurant was amazing and the location In the new forest was excellent. Would 100% going back to this hotel!!

Stayed for 1 night and when we arrived we were very impressed. The room was a four poster bed, not very big, but ideal. Clean/great view & a juliette balcony. We booked for dinner & it was superb. There was a wedding reception on, but it was quite nice, sat & spoke to some of the guests. I would recommend to anyone, great location, great hotel. ***** stars from me, :-)

Had a fab time at this hotel, the staff were so helpful and very friendly , a lovely hotel with a great feel and it was a perfect location to our trip to peppa pig world
